Synergy appointed distributor for FARO Technologies for ANZ
FARO Technologies and Synergy Group Sign Distribution Agreement FARO Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: FARO), the global leader for 3D measurement, imaging and realization solutions for 3D Metrology, AEC and Public Safety Analytics, today announced a distribution agreement with Synergy Group for the sales, hire and support of FARO products throughout Australia, New Zealand and PNG.
For 40 years, FARO has provided industry-leading 3D laser scanning technology and solutions that enable customers to measure their world, and then use that data to make smarter decisions faster. FARO continues to be a pioneer in bridging the digital and physical worlds through data-driven reliable accuracy, precision, and immediacy.
The Synergy Group consists of business units in Australia, New Zealand and the United States for Positioning, Paving, Robotics, Rental and Equipment. The establishment of an Australian and PNG network is well underway with the appointment of FARO key account representatives – Danny Romero, Director Channel Sales | FARO ANZ & PNG and Ubaldo Donatini, Regional Manager | Queensland. Danny’s vast experience in applications engineering and technical support will provide focus across the ANZ distribution network with additional targeting of the West Australian and PNG markets while Ubaldo will develop the Eastern market with over 20 years experience in 3D laser scanning, Industrial/Mechanical, Metrology Measurement Applications, Survey, Mining, Architecture, Construction, Forensics and various other market sectors.
Initially, the focus is on the distribution of FARO Technologies for AEC and Metrology. With the establishment of these products, Synergy also plans to focus on the Public Sector with products for Safety, Detection and Investigation.
